Sex and Society

September 16, 2008

It’s often been thought that this is a man’s world, and in most cases this statement is true. Even in today’s society, women are still second class citizens. Many times I have heard of women doing exactly the same job as men, yet men are being paid considerably more, and for what? Read more

Forever Friends

August 13, 2008

In my free time, like many other young women my age, I enjoy watching American TV sitcoms such as Friends and Sex and the city. They’re an easy way to wind down with their lighthearted humour and you are always guaranteed a laugh. But recently while I was watching yet another re run of Sex and the city, it got me thinking. Do you trust me?

June 27, 2008

In a relationship, trust is considered to be very important to many people. However, I feel this word has been thrown around too much and its true meaning has not been thought about. It is not as simple as saying, “do you trust them?” and, in my opinion, it certainly doesn’t have a yes or no answer. First of all, what type of trust are we talking about. Read more

Should We All Just Settle? A perfect soul mate

June 22, 2008

We learn, just from living everyday life, that we can’t always get what we want. We can’t always be the best, we can’t always win and we can’t find exactly what we’re looking for. So why do we insist on finding love, or a “soul mate“? Read more

Love or Labels: Which are you looking for?

June 13, 2008

The theme song for “Sex and the City: The Movie” was “Love or Labels” by Fergie. I recently added a remix of that song on my myspace page. A lot of people asked why I did I decide on that song. The answer is that that song has so much depth and truth to it. In life, people, even guys, are looking for love or labels. And some look for both. Maybe not as literal as the song, but just as real. Is “BI” a Lie?

June 11, 2008

I recently discovered a song titled “I Kissed a Girl” by Katy Perry. The song is apparently about a personal experience that Katy encounters, in which she kisses a girl. The trend of “bisexuality” is becoming more and more common. Read more

Dating leading to frequent sex

June 7, 2008

Dating in my opinion is going out for a meal with a man that you maybe like in a mutual way or are getting to know. Most dates lead to the man asking the women home to continue the date or for a cup of coffee. But the real reason a man invites a women back to his home is because he wants to get more comfortable within the presence of a women.

He may start getting closer to you and start touching your hands.

This means he wants something = Sex or leading to it

Once a man and a women is mutual they stop the dating and jump straight into sex.
But what if the women likes the man more than sex and wants a relationship?
& What if the man just wants to have fun?

What is a women to do?
A)Move on (and why?)
B)Tell the man she wants a relationship
C)Just continue to have sex frequently and hide her feeling. (and why?)

The Harsh Reality of Dating

June 3, 2008

You always know deep down that if you take half a days holiday in order to prepare for a date then you are going to end up disappointed. Especially if you have never even met the person you are meeting that evening. Even more so if his name is Johnny Dangerous. And even further if you have told everyone from your mother to your driving instructor about your evening and eventually find yourself skipping out of the office at 1 pm on a Friday announcing to everyone in the building that you are off to meet the man of your dreams. How much time should a couple spend together?

April 12, 2008

It’s different for each couple and for each person. In an ideal world, a couple should spend as much time together as they both are comfortable with. The actual amount of time isn’t as important as the partners’ compatibility in this matter. Read more

Does sex really solve everything?

March 19, 2008

Ever heard of the term ’sympathy sex’? Well….if you have then you have either had it or ’helped’ someone with it.

They say that when a couple have just broken up with each other or have an emotional crisis, they need sex to solve all their problems. In some cases this is true, but in others it’s not a very good idea! Read more
