Interesting Riddles, think carefully

Riddles, here are two interesting riddles I have put together, these riddles are not easy to work out, but I have provided the answer for each riddle below.

Some people cannot handle these types of riddles., you know who you are  lol

First Riddle:

It cannot be seen, cannot be smelt
It cannot be heard it cannot be felt
it hides behind mountains, and under hills
and empty holes it fills,
It comes first, Then follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter

Riddle answer: Dark

Second Riddle:

Water lillies double in every 24 hours. If a pond is full of water lillies in sixty days, when would the pond be half full?

Riddle answer: 59
