Get fit for Summer Holidays, tone up tips
April 18, 2008
Some cardio (walking, biking, jogging and many sports) is great to get in shape. Weight training, even with low weights, is a great way to tone up, carry them when you walk or do reps with them.
Slim-fast and special K, while both are okay for one time a day, are not good to do straight for two weeks. They do not offer you all of the nutrients you need - you will be weak and your body will be craving variety of real foods that give you all the nutrients and vitamins you need. Special K for breakfast would be a good start, even lunch, but not just that. You will need your vegetables and protein (protein is the one thing your body can not do without!) everyday.
Just try to eat a well balanced diet with good fats (unsaturated) and whole grains, along with lean proteins, + your fruits and vegetables for fibre and antioxidants and exercise, of course.
