Tips after your Tonsils are taken out

Taking your tonsils out can be a painful process, the list below gives you tips on what to do and not to do when your tonsils are taken out, the process can be very hard on some, so here are some collated tips for all that are having them out:
1) It is worth it, if you’re in need, get them out – don’t hold onto infected parts!
2) Don’t hesitate to call your doctor or nursee if you have any problems recovering
3) Avoid ice cream if you can, get sorbet, popsicles, anything without dairy.
4) Also get hot tea and soup/broth to keep on hand if you cannot handle the cold.
5) Keep a bell or a mobile phone within reach, to get the attention of those taking care of you
6) Know that you’ll be so much better in the end!
