Weight loss, can water help you lose weight
April 17, 2008
Drinking alot of water does not help you lose weight, but it might help you gaining weight. If you exercise and drink water you might lose a few pounds of your body.(but I wouldnt recommend anyone just drinking water the whole week).
Heres a good weight losing formula : drink water + exercise + eating healthy + low calorie snack = loose weight.
Water helps to keep the body hydrated and also if you feel hungry, the body can actually be dehydrated instead of actually hungry.
If you are hungry, first drink a glass of water, and then if you are still hungry, eat.
A large amount water is not necessarily good for you. Athletes, and in particular endurance athletes, need more water than people who are not that active. However, they are at risk of drinking too much water and must take caution.
Water is certainly a very necessary tool for the body as it is involved in various functions and the body cannot function without it. However, it will not just help you magically lose weight. You must have a diet consisting of enough protein, fibre, carbohydrates, minimal fats, vitamins and minerals. You must also have a proper exercise routine that is correct for your age, weight, and exercise history.
