A man from Algeria

October 10, 2008

A thug from the hood who came with no shame
Went around Britain being insane
Before Ramadan came he lost his ways
Then he stepped back when reality hit his back
He looked around and nearly drowned

Until he felt the peace amongst his fellow Muslims who were on the streets

Praise to the lord he chanted while his heart missed a beat
While doing toba he fell to his feet
He ran towards the masjid n asked Allah for a treat
The azan went while he tried to repent
But it wasn’t too late that he corrected his mistake
And fell for Islam which was his defeat

The next stage in his life was to be with a wife
But not knowing where she was
He went online to see if he could try and fight

Then he saw her
Samera was her name
And apparently she had no shame
Her clean ways had led him to believe she is the one
Who will come around and go on

But den comes the email where it hit him back
But she wasn’t planning an attack
The parents stepped in and everything she reviled was from within

Samera Samera I hear him call my name
Every day without sounding insane
Her mind becomes confused
Thinking is this good news
As for why will she refuse?

A refugee who’s got a short fuse ……………………..

Heartfelt, passionate, full of redemption and hope - and this time next year, maybe a happy ending?

This is a very good, alot of truth and honesty has been put into the poem. You can clearly see the different types of emotions and feeling the person goes through at different stages if their lives. I enjoyed reading it and would recommend it to anyone
