How much time should a couple spend together?

It’s different for each couple and for each person. In an ideal world, a couple should spend as much time together as they both are comfortable with. The actual amount of time isn’t as important as the partners’ compatibility in this matter.

Everyone has different needs for the amount of time spent with the other person. Neither of you are wrong - there’s no right or wrong answer here - but you’re different nevertheless. I think, as long as you both accept that the other person’s view is valid, you can find a good compromise; sometimes you can give him some space, and other times he can spend time with you even when he’d rather do something else.

As long as neither of you insists on having it your way all the time, you should be fine. Not a lot of people are perfectly 100% compatible in everything, there’s always give-and-take one way or another.

As long as you are ok with how much you spend then don’t worry about it.
