Vehicle Tax for Cars and Motorcycles

Is your vehicle tax Due? If you own a vehicle and use it on the road then you will need to know the following details. These are the new road tax regulations. The tables below contain the rates of vehicle tax(cars and motorcycles) for the different tax class.
Cars registered before 1 March 2001 (based on engine size)

Cars registered on or after 1 March 2001 (based on fuel type and CO2 emissions)
The rates shown only apply to cars that have been type approved on the basis of CO2 emissions measured in grams per kilometre (g/km) driven.
Petrol and Diesel Cars
