Cheaper family holidays, UK and Abroad?

Cheaper family holidays with loads fun and entertainment for the children. Cheapest place to stay would be in a tent near the beach that’s all the children need. They love to spend hours in and around the water.

Another cheap holiday would be at a farm area near animals and nature. Young children just want to get in touch with nature.

If your children are teenagers, the beach may or may not still appeal to them. An strange idea for a holiday is to stay home and use the money you would’ve used for a holiday to renovate. Teenagers love to redecorate their room and fit it out with stuff they are interested in. They will have a great sense of achievement from having prepared the walls, painted them, reorganising their stuff, selling old stuff at the local market, changing their curtains and covers. If that does not work with the teenagers, I am sure there are plenty of cheap package holidays to Spain these days.

Do take time off while you’re doing this to spend time together as a family at tourist attractions around your home. Go to all the places you never do because you say you can do it anytime.

I think change is as good as a holiday, but you can never beat a nice warm country to relax.
