Lanzarote, That Little Island in the Sun
August 22, 2008
Lanzarote was an unbeknown Spanish owned Island just off South Africa until about 40 years ago. When suddenly the western world noticed they noticed something amazing.
The island reaches scorching degrees and has something to really offer everyone. Puetro Del Carmen is the most popular resort of the island with many Irish and British holiday makers visiting there.
For the young crowd there are a number of hot spots and clubs which offer modern music and a party all night bonanza which can be enjoyed. Believe me. And for the tranquil seeking visitors the Old town is set in serene surrounding where a quiet meal and drink can be enjoyed.
The country is extremely clean and the local are so warm and welcoming it is reminiscent of the sun which treats Lanzarote to its rays all year round. If you don’t mind a 4 hour flight and you don’t mind yourself being bombarded by the heat then Lanzarote has something for you….
HOTSPOTS:
FLANNAGANS SHOWBAR-HIGHLARIOUS COMEDY
BRIAN BORU-GREAT IRISH MUSIC
MULLIGANS-OUTSTANDING IRISH SHOWS INCLUDING SINGING AND DANCING
AND MANY MORE…….
